The Tabasco pepper is best known for its use in Tabasco sauce. Tabasco rate from 30,000 to 50,000 on the Scoville scale of heat levels where a Jalapeño pepper produces between 3,500-8,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU)!!!
Tabasco is the only variety of chilli pepper whose fruits are “juicy”; i.e., they are not dry on the inside.

Tabasco peppers are dark green when young and turns beautiful orange when ripe. The plant can grow to 80 cm in height. This is an exceptionally RARE hot chilli that produces large amount of small and hot pods.
They are very easy to grow & easy to maintain. This plant will continuously produce chilli during warmer months. Seeds need minimum 20°C to germinate. With a proper care in frosty time this will survive up to 3 years. Soak the seeds in water for a few hours before planting and sow them around 8mm deep in a sunny, well-drained position. Germinates between 2-4 weeks. Grow indoor in extreme weather condition and then transfer when mature enough to survive.
