This chilli pepper grows widely in Mexico, Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico and known as the mother of all peppers because they are the oldest in the Capsicum annuum species. In 1995, this native pepper of Texas beat Jalapeño and became the official pepper of the state of Texas! They are extremely hot and can reach up to 250,000 Scoville Units where a Jalapeño produces only 5000 Scoville Units.

Eat fresh, use in curries, pickle, or can be used to make extreme hot sauce. If you love hot chilli then grow this you won’t be disappointed.

It’s rated over 250,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU) where a Jalapeno pepper produces between 3,500-8,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU)!!!

They are very easy to grow & easy to maintain. This plant will continuously produce chilli for 5/6 months each year. Seeds need min 20°C to germinate. With a proper care in frosty time this will survive up to 3 years. Soak the seeds in water for a few hours before planting and sow them around 5m deep in a sunny, well-drained position. Germinates between 3-5 weeks, depending on the weather condition.

Due to quarantine restrictions, plant can’t be sent to Tasmania.
